I am an artist of Middle Eastern and European descent, born on Giabal land in southern Queensland and based in Narrm, Melbourne.
I mostly work with photography but also use other materials when necessary as a means of twisting the codes and conventions of our relationship to images. I believe mainstream popular images are shaping our behaviours more than ever. I work to unpack and decode these images to make sense of culture and the power structures shaping shared desires.
